Source type and limitations are kept with each measure. A smaller study or local dataset can add useful detail even when it cannot support a national conclusion. The explorer keeps those differences visible rather than treating every source as interchangeable.

The present catalogue is a starting point. Future research will look for provincial and municipal administrative data, service-use records, longitudinal surveys, academic datasets, community-led research, nonprofit reports and other credible sources that add variables or local detail.
New sources will be categorized by who produced them, the population and geography they describe, the period covered, their unit and denominator, and the comparisons they can reasonably support.
